Wodonga Heart FC 2023

In 2023 we continued to build on our success in the pervious year.

On-field achievements

In 2023 we fielded 9 teams (3 more than 2022).

We won 2 AWFA championships (Under 14 boys and Division 2 Women). The Under 14 boys were undefeated in the regular season. The Division 2 Women were first senior team for Wodonga Heart FC to win a championship.
2 senior teams into Semi Finals (Division 2 Men and Division 2 Women). 3 junior boy’s teams into Semi Finals. 2 girls teams in Quarter Finals.
2 teams made it to the Grand Finals (Under 14 boys and Division 2 Women).

Under 14 boys were runners up in very tight match.

And for FIRST TIME in the history of our club we had a senior cup winner (Division 2 Women).

We finished 6th on the AWFA Club Champions competition.

Individual achievements

16 representative players, 8 TSP players, 1 State player (Saleh Salim), 1 State shadow player (Pieter Maas).
Anton Maas: appointed assistant coach U16 NSW country team.
VIC State Champions: Ollie, Tyla, Hope, Solomon (U13), Hamish, Jaydon, Rafa (U14) Pieter, Jay, Sarive, Saleh, Josh (U15’s), Charlie, Pieter (U16), runners up Campbell (U18)
NSW State Champions: Hamish, Jaydon, Rafa (U14), Charlie (U16), runners up Ollie, Tyla, Hope, Solomon (U13), Pieter, Jay, Sarive, Saleh, Josh (U15’s)
